The Yankees and Mets have raised their offers to Juan Soto into historic territory, making a final push before the Winter Meetings.
According to Jon Heyman of the New York Post, both New York teams have upped their offers to the superstar outfielder into the $710 million-$730 million range.
“It is believed the Mets may be slightly higher as of Saturday night, but the respective offers appear to be within shouting distance,” Heyman wrote Saturday night, adding that the Soto sweepstakes are within a day or two of coming to an end.
